Sony’s Thinnest LCD HDTV

Set your mind as ease guys, as the title of world’s thinnest LCD HDTV seems to have changed hands once again. After Hitachi held on to it for almost half a year, along came Sony and launched the incredibly thin KDL-40ZX1, whose panel is just 9 mm thick, while the device itself reaches just 28.8 mm but, still capable of displaying high-quality images at full HD about 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution.

Sony’s new ultra-thin KDL-40ZX1 will arrive in Japanese stores at some point in November for an estimate retail price of around 4,500 US dollars, but it’s quite likely that the rest of the world will have to wait until early 2009 in order to be able to enjoy this technological wonder. What do you think of this new LCD guys?

2008 Honda OSM (Open Study Model) - Honda Concept Car

2008 Honda OSM (Open Study Model)

Honda's low-emission sportscar study model has been revealed at the British International Motor Show, at ExCel, London..
The lightweight roadster design study is a concept showing Honda's core engineering principals, designing stylish and exciting cars that are also environmentally responsible.
Named the OSM (for Open Study Model), the two-seater joins the confirmed-for-production CR-Z sports hybrid and FCX Clarity hydrogen fuel cell car on the Honda stand at the show.
"We're trying to show that low emission cars can be attractive," says Andreas Sittel, Project Leader for OSM. "There is no reason why a car that's more environmentally friendly can't look great too - and be sporty and fun to drive."
The concept for the project was ‘Clean and Dynamic' - and this direction was followed for both the exterior and interior design, ensuring a joined-up, consistent ‘language' between the two. One example of this can be seen at the rear of the car, where the body actually extends into the cabin between the seats.
The exterior design is a balance of smooth, rounded curves and sharp lines to provide definition in key areas. The headlights are cleverly integrated into the front end, stretching from the nose to the top of the wheel arches to look more like a part of the original body.

2008 Honda OSM (Open Study Model)

Inside, this uninterrupted, fluid approach is continued, with long sweeping curves extending from both door panels to form a frame for the instrument display. The concept for the dashboard was to avoid creating the traditional block of ‘heavy' colour and material in front of the driver; in keeping with the clean and lightweight theme. For that reason, the dash is broken into sections, with the most important instruments in direct line-of-sight of the driver.
Key information is displayed in a rounded, enclosed central binnacle, with levels and figures in bright blue on a black background. This matches the trim inside the car, with the seats and door furniture trimmed in a new, gloss-effect blue leather, accompanied by white leather sections, in line with the exterior body colour, a one-off paint called Mystic Pearl.
The driver's main controls and functions are distributed in an intuitive layout, close at hand on a panel that curves downwards to the right of the driver. A centrally-mounted semi-sequential gear-shift points towards a fun-to-drive transmission, along with paddle shifts either side of the steering wheel. Integrated into the gearshifter itself is a red ignition ‘start' button, which reinforces the sporty direction of the car.
The Honda OSM was designed by Honda's R&D facility in Offenbach, Germany. It's the latest example of the young talent being developed within Honda's design studios in Europe - following the Honda Small Hybrid Sports Concept (Geneva 2007) and the Accord Tourer Concept (Frankfurt 2007).
At present, the Honda OSM is a design study model, and there are no plans for it to enter production.

2009 All New Honda Accord Euro

Honda’s all-new Accord will provide a strong challenge to the traditional premium manufacturers in the D-sector, with sporty styling, greater refinement and excellent driving dynamics. All engines in the line up will be Euro 5 emissions compliant, and the model will feature a sector-leading package of safety systems.

The new Accord’s styling is an evolution of the current model, although it’s significantly wider and slightly lower than its predecessor, and adopts a ’sharp-edged’ design with muscular wheel arches to emphasise the car’s wider track.
The more sporty approach to exterior design is perhaps best expressed in the new Tourer, which still offers incredible versatility and practicality, but a mix of curves and crisp lines at the rear give the estate a more stylish overall appearance.

THREE ADVANCED, LOW EMISSION ENGINES
Making its debut in Accord is Honda’s second-generation diesel engine - the i-DTEC - which builds on the outstanding qualities of the award-winning i-CTDi unit. Not only is the new diesel more powerful - offering 150PS at 4,000rpm - it also offers cleaner emissions and is smoother to drive.
Like its predecessor, the new i-DTEC engine is compact, lightweight, refined and quiet in operation. It employs the latest piezoelectric multi-stage fuel injection technology, more efficient exhaust gas recirculation and a particulate filter for significantly reduced emissions. Peak torque is now 350 Nm (258lb.ft) at 2,000 rpm.
The 2.0-litre petrol i-VTEC offers 156 PS at 6,300 rpm, and improves on its class-leading fuel economy. Key technological changes include increased diameter intake valves, further optimised valve lift and timing and increased inlet and exhaust air flow volumes.
Meanwhile, the 2.4-litre i-VTEC engine is more powerful, delivering a respectable 200PS at 7,000 rpm and peak torque of 233 Nm (187 lb.ft) at 4,500 rpm. Behind the figures are a compression ratio increased from 10.5 to 11.0:1, larger valves, revised valve timing, and reduced exhaust system pressures.
All three engines are matched to a 6-speed manual transmission, while both petrol engines have the option of a 5-speed automatic. An automatic gearbox for the i-DTEC engine will be launched in early 2009.
Manual models feature a Shift Indicator Light which appears in the centre of the rev counter. ‘UP’ or ‘DOWN’ graphics are displayed to advise the driver of the optimum point (in terms of best fuel economy) at which to change gear; Honda tests have demonstrated fuel savings of as much as five per cent by following these commands.

AGILE, SECURE HANDLING
To create a more involving, communicative drive, the Accord development team used the highly-rated BMW 3 Series as a benchmark, and enthusiastic drivers will appreciate the new car’s greater agility. A lowered centre of gravity, a wider track and the all-new front double wishbone and rear multilink suspension with variable rate dampers, plus greater body rigidity mean that the Accord more readily reacts to driver input. Handling is more responsive and confidence-inspiring and body roll has been reduced.
Speed sensitive electric power steering is standard on all models and the new axial system features a high output, low inertia brushless motor which provides excellent steering feel at higher speeds for a sense of stability and confidence. A quicker steering ratio has also been adopted in keeping with the Accord’s more agile chassis characteristics.

PREMIEM INTERIOR WITH OUTSTANDING FIT AND FINISH
Inside the Accord, the car’s dynamic characteristics are reflected in the driver-focused cabin, with a dashboard that extends from the centre console to sweep around the front seats, creating a cockpit-like design. The width of the car has allowed this without intruding on driver or passenger space, thus maximising comfort levels.
The dash itself features ‘floating’ backlit instruments, with an LCD multi-information display contained within the centre of the speedometer face. Controls positioned on the steering wheel allow the driver to cycle the display through multiple screens of information. A new feature is a service reminder that presents the driver with either the distance or days remaining to a required service, with an enlarged warning symbol appearing when the due date is imminent.
Meanwhile, stylish and highly supportive front seats have larger bolsters while a new internal structure is designed to reduce any transmission of vibration.
The three spoke steering wheel follows a similar design to recent Honda models, and holds a complete suite of controls - including audio, cruise control and mobile telephone control. It is fully adjustable for reach and rake, with an extra 10 degrees of tilt adjustment compared to the previous Accord.
Clever storage solutions ensure the car is as practical as ever, including two centre console side pockets; a lidded storage area to side of the steering wheel; large front door pockets able to hold bottles and maps; bottle holders in the rear door panels, and a large centre console box.

COMPREHENSIVE SAFETY PACKAGE
As well as a host of passive safety features, the new Accord boasts an outstanding array of dynamic systems delivering even greater security. Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) is standard across the range and is designed to assist the driver in maintaining control during cornering, acceleration and sudden manoeuvres by applying braking to the right or left hand wheels as necessary and modulating the engine torque output as required.
The new Accord also features an innovative system that utilises both VSA and the car’s Electric Power Steering. Called Motion Adaptive EPS, it detects instability in slippery conditions both during cornering and under braking and automatically initiates steering inputs aimed to prompt the driver to steer in the correct direction.
The input is barely noticeable and control of the steering remains with the driver at all times. But this supporting steering torque is enough to prompt the driver to act intuitively and the driver’s reaction as a result is enough to regain stability or to shorten braking distances, allowing control to be maintained.

Another important feature of Honda’s VSA is Trailer Stability Assist which ensures, by using a combination of reduced engine torque and selective braking, that the vehicle is slowed to a safe and stable speed if snaking should occur while towing.
Honda continues to bring its latest safety technology to more drivers by offering an updated version of ADAS (Advanced Driving Assist System) as an option - and for the first time this will feature CMBS (Collision Mitigation Braking System).
CMBS monitors the distance and closing rate between the Accord and the car directly in front of it, warning the driver of a likely collision with alarms and seatbelt ‘tugs’. If the system detects that a collision is unavoidable, it automatically applies braking to reduce the effects of an impact.
ADAS also includes Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) which uses a camera to detect the car deviating from a traffic lane and provides steering torque when necessary, thereby reducing the burden of motorway driving while at the same time enhancing safety.
Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) uses a millimetre-wave radar to maintain a consistent distance to a vehicle directly in front, which can help reduce driver fatigue.
The Accord’s passive safety features include front seatbelt pre-tensioners and load limiters, dual stage front airbags, driver and front passenger side airbags, full-length curtain airbags and ISOFIX fittings and tether anchor points for secure childseat fixture on all models. There are also front seat active headrests which are triggered when the occupant is pushed into the seat in the event of a rear impact, so causing a rigid plate to activate a link to the headrest which pushes it forward to support the head.

Super Flexible File Synchronizer Pro 4.31 Build 111

Super Flexible File Synchronizer Pro 4.31 Build 111

Super Flexible File Synchronizer Pro 4.31 Build 111 | 5,4 Mb

Back up your data and synchronize PCs, servers, notebooks, and online storage space. You can set up as many different jobs as you need and run them manually or using the scheduler. The software comes with support for FTP, SSH, HTTP, WebDAV, and Amazon S3. You can use ZIP compression and data encryption. On Windows NT/2000 or higher, the scheduler can run as a service - without users having to log on. There are powerful synchronization modes, including Standard Copying, Exact Mirror, and SmartTracking.

Features:

• Synchronizes or Backs Up Files and complete folder structures in different locations, such as a PC, laptop, or online storage. There are no limits in terms of file sizes, the number of files, or filename lengths. The program fully supports Unicode characters so that it can copy filenames in all languages.
• Each sync job is saved as a profile so that you only need to specify the settings once. You can run multiple profiles with a single click. You can also run profiles from the command line. Profiles can be created using a wizard, or in advanced mode.
• Includes a scheduler. Schedule the synchronization of your data on a backup hard disk at a convenient time each day, or as frequently as you wish. You can also schedule profiles to run upon shutdown or log-off. On Windows NT/2000 or higher, the scheduler can run as a service - without users having to log on.
• Internet Support. Supports various Internet protocols, including FTP, FTPS, SFTP/SSH, WebDAV, SSL, HTTP, and Amazon S3 web storage.
• Compression and Encryption Support. Easily zip your files and encrypt them with strong 256-bit encryption. To unzip and decrypt, simply make a copy of your profile and copy in the opposite direction.
• Detects Moved Files. If you reorganized your folders by moving files to different locations, Super Flexible File Synchronizer will detect this and quickly perform the same moves, for example, on your laptop. No extraneous copying!
• SmartTracking. This feature keeps a database of all files so that it can detect file deletions and conflicts. You will find the SmartTracking checkbox on the Modes tab sheet (in Advanced Mode). A separate dialog will appear with related settings.
• Unattended Mode In this mode, no questions are asked while the profile is run. You can specify beforehand which kinds of files may be overwritten.
• Exact Mirror Mode. If desired, you can create an exact mirror of your data, even if this means that some files are deleted or replaced with older files.
• Copy Locked Files. If some files cannot be copied due to other software accessing these files, Volume Shadowing can be used on Windows XP or later to copy the files. If files can't be copied, the synchronizer will continue copying the remaining files, and then retry all those files that were locked, until all files have been copied successfully. A limit for the time spent on retries can be specified.
• Versioning: this feature enables you to keep multiple older versions of each file in the backup. There are several naming schemes available. See also Versioning / Filename Mangling.
• Partial File Updating (or delta copying): this feature copies only the changed portions of files in order to speed up the synchronization. See the Partial File Updating documentation
• Database-safe mode: This mode requires exclusive access to the files to be copied. If exclusive access is not possible, Volume Shadowing is used, or the program will wait until the exclusive access becomes possible.
• Can Use Recycle Bin for older versions of files that are overwritten, as well as for deleted files. This is a fairly unique feature because most programs will permanently replace older versions of a file. Using Super Flexible File Synchronizer, you will have a chance of retrieving overwritten files if you select the appropriate options.
• File Masks & Filters. Numerous ways to select/deselect files and folders are available.
• Daylight Savings Time / Time Zones. Since exact hour time differences can be ignored if the file size matches, you won't have any more problems if the file systems of two computers are off by one hour, or even several hours. Whenever possible, UTC (world time) is used to compare the timestamps of files.
• Easy Resuming On Disk Full. You simply make more space and ask the software to continue copying. It can pause right in the middle of a file until additional space is freed.
• Obsolete File Folders. If you occasionally move obsolete files to a specially designated folder, this usually causes trouble with traditional file synchronizers. They will copy the obsolete files back from your laptop right into the folders where you moved them out of. No longer! If you use the Select Folders and Files option, you can specify folders for obsolete files using the right mouse button. These folders are then taken into account for moving files into them, but not for copying files out. Thus, the synchronizer does the same moving of obsolete files on your laptop that you previously did on the PC, but it does not waste any time copying all obsolete files between the two machines.

A Ring Tone Meant to Fall on Deaf Ears

In that old battle of the wills between young people and their keepers, the young have found a new weapon that could change the balance of power on the cellphone front: a ring tone that many adults cannot hear.

In settings where cellphone use is forbidden — in class, for example — it is perfect for signaling the arrival of a text message without being detected by an elder of the species.

"When I heard about it I didn't believe it at first," said Donna Lewis, a technology teacher at the Trinity School in Manhattan. "But one of the kids gave me a copy, and I sent it to a colleague. She played it for her first graders. All of them could hear it, and neither she nor I could."

The technology, which relies on the fact that most adults gradually lose the ability to hear high-pitched sounds, was developed in Britain but has only recently spread to America — by Internet, of course.

Recently, in classes at Trinity and elsewhere, some students have begun testing the boundaries of their new technology. One place was Michelle Musorofiti's freshman honors math class at Roslyn High School on Long Island.

At Roslyn, as at most schools, cellphones must be turned off during class. But one morning last week, a high-pitched ring tone went off that set teeth on edge for anyone who could hear it. To the students' surprise, that group included their teacher.

"Whose cellphone is that?" Miss Musorofiti demanded, demonstrating that at 28, her ears had not lost their sensitivity to strangely annoying, high-pitched, though virtually inaudible tones.

"You can hear that?" one of them asked.

"Adults are not supposed to be able to hear that," said another, according to the teacher's account.

She had indeed heard that, Miss Musorofiti said, adding, "Now turn it off."

The cellphone ring tone that she heard was the offshoot of an invention called the Mosquito, developed last year by a Welsh security company to annoy teenagers and gratify adults, not the other way around.

It was marketed as an ultrasonic teenager repellent, an ear-splitting 17-kilohertz buzzer designed to help shopkeepers disperse young people loitering in front of their stores while leaving adults unaffected.

The principle behind it is a biological reality that hearing experts refer to as presbycusis, or aging ear. While Miss Musorofiti is not likely to have it, most adults over 40 or 50 seem to have some symptoms, scientists say.

While most human communication takes place in a frequency range between 200 and 8,000 hertz (a hertz being the scientific unit of frequency equal to one cycle per second), most adults' ability to hear frequencies higher than that begins to deteriorate in early middle age.

"It's the most common sensory abnormality in the world," said Dr. Rick A. Friedman, an ear surgeon and research scientist at the House Ear Institute in Los Angeles.

But in a bit of techno-jujitsu, someone — a person unknown at this time, but probably not someone with presbycusis — realized that the Mosquito, which uses this common adult abnormality to adults' advantage, could be turned against them.

The Mosquito noise was reinvented as a ring tone.

"Our high-frequency buzzer was copied. It is not exactly what we developed, but it's a pretty good imitation," said Simon Morris, marketing director for Compound Security, the company behind the Mosquito. "You've got to give the kids credit for ingenuity."

British newspapers described the first use of the high-frequency ring tone last month in some schools in Wales, where Compound Security's Mosquito device was introduced as a "yob-buster," a reference to the hooligans it was meant to disperse.

Since then, Mr. Morris said his company has received so much attention — none of it profit-making because the ring tone was in effect pirated — that he and his partner, Howard Stapleton, the inventor, decided to start selling a ring tone of their own. It is called Mosquitotone, and it is now advertised as "the authentic Mosquito ring tone."

David Herzka, a Roslyn High School freshman, said he researched the British phenomenon a few weeks ago on the Web, and managed to upload a version of the high-pitched sound into his cellphone.

He transferred the ring tone to the cellphones of two of his friends at a birthday party on June 3. Two days later, he said, about five students at school were using it, and by Tuesday the number was a couple of dozen.

"I just made it for my friends. I don't use a cellphone during class at school," he said.

How, David was asked, did he think this new device would alter the balance of power between adults and teenagers? Or did he suppose it was a passing fad?

"Well, probably it is," said David, who added after a moment's thought, "And if not, I guess the school will just have to hire a lot of young teachers."

Kate Hammer and Nate Schweber contributed reporting for this article.

Anti-Malware Toolkit 1.03.125

The first thing anyone should do after installing Windows is to install an anti-virus program. Then an anti-spyware program. Then a firewall. Then lot many other programs to protect yourself from numerous malwares that are floating around.

If this process is too tedious for you, then the program Anti-Malware toolkit is for you. This program is not an anti-malware utility as the name might suggest. But, it is a program that makes downloading all popular anti-malware programs a quick and easy process.

It downloads the most latest and greatest versions of all popular security applications like Spybot S&D, HijackThis, Autoruns, CCleaner,Avast, Comodo Firewall etc for you to install.

Of course, you can always go to the web sites of these applications and download them your self, but Anti-Malware Toolkit makes it a single-button-click affair.

Pros:

  • Freeware
  • Simple user interface
  • Identifies whether a program is incompatible with the user’s operating system.
  • Runs on Windows: 98, 98SE, Me, 2000, XP, Vista, Server 2003 and Server 2008.

Cons:

  • Doesn’t check whether any of the listed application is already installed in the machine.
  • No option to schedule downloads.
  • Doesn’t actually install the downloaded applications.
  • Required .Net 2.0 framework

Force Firefox To Remember Password Of Sites Like Paypal

Firefox has a pretty nifty password manager. When you login to any web site, Firefox offers to save your user name and password. The next time you visit that page, user name and password fields are auto completed for you. A real time-saver.

But have you ever wondered why this doesn't work in certain sites? For instance, Firefox doesn't offer to save password if you login to Yahoo, delicious, paypal and a large number of banking sites.

This is because these sites request Firefox not to save passwords through a special flag: autocomplete="off". When a web site sets this flag, it is an indication to the browser not to save the entered values. Therefore, Firefox being a good lamb, turns off the auto complete feature and saving of passwords in such web sites. However, in today's Daily Feature, we show you how to bypass such a flag and force Firefox to save passwords of all sites.

But before you start this, be warned that this can become a security risk. Giving your bank password to Firefox's password manager wouldn't be a smart move considering the many password manager related vulnerabilities that we saw last year.

Here is what you should do:

  1. Close any instance of Firefox.
  2. Open up C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\components\nsLoginManager.js using notepad. (Change the location to where you have installed Firefox)
  3. Search for the line: _isAutocompleteDisabled : function (element) {
  4. Delete the three lines after this line.
In our Firefox installation, these lines were at line number: 725, 726 and 727. Take a look at the screen shots below for more details.

Before:

After:

Now fire up Firefox and test whether it is saving all passwords, as expected.

The Ultimate Tweaker's Guide To Firefox3

One of the main reason why Firefox has been so successful, is that you can tweak it to match your needs. Though there are another 12 million Firefox users out there, still you can make your Firefox installation unique, matching your personality.

This short guide gives you a myriad of options that can be tweaked in Firefox 3. Read along
  1. Auto complete in the address bar as you type an address.
Majority of the people out their seems to have a love-hate relationship with the Firefox3's new address bar (that Mozilla likes to call as the awsome bar). In a humble attempt to tame this address bar we give you some hacks that can reform the smart bar to become the real smart bar.
    • Enter about:config into the address bar and hit enter.
    • Click on "I'll be careful, I promise!" button.
    • Enter browser.urlbar.autoFill into the Filter text box. Double click on that preference value and change the value to true to enable autofill.
Now, as you type in an address, you can see that not only the drop down list is shown, but the address bar itself is auto completed for you.

  2. Enabling spell check in text-fields
By default Firefox does spell checking only in multi-line text boxes. If you want the Firefox to spell check the single line text entry fields too, this hack is for you:
    • Enter about:config into the address bar and hit enter.
    • Click on "I'll be careful, I promise!" button.
    • Enter layout.spellcheckDefault into the Filter text box. Double click on that preference value and change the value to 2.

  3. Tweaking the full screen mode
By default Firefox 3 hides the location bar and tab bar when you enter the full screen mode. Here is how to disable this behavior.
    • Enter about:config into the address bar and hit enter.
    • Click on "I'll be careful, I promise!" button.
    • Enter browser.fullscreen.autohide into the Filter text box. Double click on that preference value and change the value to false to disable hiding of location and tab bar.
    • If you just want to disable the hiding animation, set browser.fullscreen.animateUp to 0.

  4. Turn On Color Profile Support

The Good news is that (unlike Firefox2) Firefox3 contains a built-in advanced color profile support, which makes Firefox 3 compete easily with any desktop image viewers/editors in terms of color support. The bad news is that this mode is disabled by default. This is what you should do to enable the color profile support.
    • Enter about:config into the address bar and hit enter.
    • Click on "I'll be careful, I promise!" button.
    • Enter gfx.color_management.enabled into the Filter text box. Double click on that preference value and change the value to true to enable color profile support.

  5. Always display the go button
By default Firefox 3 displays the Go button only when you are editing the address in the location bar. This is how you can display it always.
    • Open userChrome.css file in your profile directory using notepad.
    • Add the following line to the end of the file: #go-button { visibility: visible !important; }
    • Restart Firefox.
If you don't want to tamper with the userChrome.css file, here is an extension that does the same for you.

  6. Make the location bar display only typed addresses
Dont want the location bar to show entries in your bookmark or history? Here is what you should do.
    • Enter about:config into the address bar and hit enter.
    • Click on "I'll be careful, I promise!" button
    • Enter browser.urlbar.matchOnlyTyped into the Filter text box. Double click on that preference value and change the value to true.

  7. Change the number of suggestions displayed in the Location bar menu
By default Firefox 3 displays upto 12 results in the drop down list as you type an address. Here is how to change this number.
    • Enter about:config into the address bar and hit enter.
    • Click on "I'll be careful, I promise!" button.
    • Enter browser.urlbar.maxRichResults into the Filter text box. Double click on that preference value and change the value to any positive number.

  8. Hide RSS feed icon from the location bar
If you feel that little rss icon is taking up your precious screen real estate, you can easily disable it.
    • Open userChrome.css file in your profile directory using notepad.
    • Add the following line to the end of the file: #feed-button[feeds] { display: none !important; }
    • Restart Firefox.

  9. Hide the star icon from the location bar
You may be a keyboard junkie or you may be too used up to the old ways that you'll never use the star icon sitting up in the location bar. If you never use it, why let it be there? Here is how to remove the star icon from location bar.
    • Open userChrome.css file in your profile directory using notepad.
    • Add the following line to the end of the file: #star-button {display: none !important;}
    • Restart Firefox.

  10. Disable single-click-select-all in the location bar.
One of the real pain in the neck feature of Firefox is that it automatically selects the entire address in the location bar if you click anywhere near it. You just wanted to correct a typo in the address, but instead of putting the cursor at the clicked location, Firefox selected the entire address. Without looking into the screen, you corrected the typo and now the entire address is gone. Now buddy, start typing again, says Firefox. Here is how to make the behavior more 'humane'.
    • Enter about:config into the address bar and hit enter.
    • Click on "I'll be careful, I promise!" button.
    • Enter browser.urlbar.clickSelectsAll into the Filter text box. Double click on that preference value and change the value to false.

  11. Reduce the size of the back button

This may not be that evident at first, but will soon reveal to be a no-brainier once you know it. This is all you have to do: Right-click on Firefox's toolbar, and choose Customize. In the dialog box, select "Use small icons."

  12. Disable blinking text
Sorry, Mr. Blinking Text, you are not welcome. Here is how to stop all blinking text:
    • Enter about:config into the address bar and hit enter.
    • Click on "I'll be careful, I promise!" button.
    • Enter browser.blink_allowed into the Filter text box. Double click on that preference value and change the value to false.

Portable Magical Security 2.01

Portable Magical Security 2.01

Safely encode private files
Security for your PC is no longer a ‘maybe’, it has now become an absolute must. Experts estimate that it takes as little as 20 minutes before an unprotected computer is infected with an ‘internet contact’, whether it’s a virus, a Trojan horse or spy software, which stealthily accesses sensitive information before forwarding it to a hacker. For this reason, protecting data that is saved on the individual computer is extremely important. It's packaged in Thinstall3.358 Program is registered

Features:
Magical Security 2 encodes files with sensitive contents so that instead of text and numbers they simply contain an incomprehensible mix of letters. The algorithm is so strong that it isn’t possible for anyone to crack the code in a justifiable time period, even if they are able to draw on a very powerful computer. The security methodology isn’t only effective against the many confirmed hackers in the internet, but also against the spy who might be lurking in your own office and secretly copying files during the lunch break. With Magical Security 2, converting an encoded file back to its readable format naturally poses no problems.
Encode files and burn them onto CD or DVD
Portable Magical Security 2.01 integrates fully into the File Manager, which means it can be activated using the Explorer. Lone files or several files can be gathered in the program window, where they can be encoded and then saved on the hard disk or burned onto a CD or DVD. Once saved onto disk, the encoded files are safe and can be optimally transported. It is also possible to store the files in a self-extracting EXE archive which can then be forwarded to friends or work colleagues. The recipients simply have to activate the files. After entering the correct password, the archives then extract and decode themselves automatically.
Please note:Magical Security 2 is also able to delete files to ensure their complete, non-residue removal from the hard disk – as what’s the use of the most sophisticated encoding system if, by using the appropriate program, the deleted originals can simply be recovered?
New in Version 2: with compression and Email dispatch
In the new version,Magical Security 2 doesn’t only offer a completely newly designed display and innumerably improvements in terms of detail. Two further innovations lend the use of the tools even more value.
Compression: The encoded files can be automatically compressed meaning that they need less saving space. In this way, it’s possible to burn considerably more encoded files onto a CD ROM than was the case with the previous version..
Email dispatch: It is now possible to encode files in a single procedure and to send them as Email straight away. The Email function sends the files as PPENC attachments or as self-extracting EXE archives. The tool also packages the EXE files automatically into a ZIP archive so that they actually reach the recipient.
An overview of the functions
* Decoding and encoding of selected files with only one click of the mouse
* Complete deletion of files
* Seamless integration in the Windows Explorer
* The use of the latest encoding technologies
* Burning onto CD and DVD
* Encoding and burning in only a single step
* Encoding and Email dispatch in only a single step
* Encoding files to EXE archives and burning them directly onto CD or DVD
* Encoding of files to self extracting archives for Email dispatch
* Integrated file manager for comfortable work within the application
* Compression of the encoded files

Portable Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended | 56.7mb

Photoshop CS3 Extended includes all of the same features as Photoshop CS3 but adds a brand-new set of tools and capabilities for the integration of 3-D models, video and animation, and image measurement and analysis.

In CS3, Adobe did a very good job of making interface improvements without moving too far away from the familiar. Most of the new elements unique to Photoshop Extended are well integrated into the standard Photoshop and accessed from familiar tools such as the Layers panel or various menus.
3-D compositing and texture editing.

Portable Adobe Flash CS3 | 97.3mb

Adobe Flash has historically been called Shockwave Flash and more recently Macromedia Flash but has come to be simply Flash. Flash is a set of multimedia technologies developed and distributed by Adobe Systems since December 2005, when Adobe Systems acquired Macromedia. Since its introduction in 1996, Flash technology has become a popular method for adding animation and interactivity to web pages; Flash is commonly used to create animation, advertisements, various web page components, to integrate video into web pages, and more recently, to develop rich Internet applications.

Flash can manipulate vector and raster graphics and supports bi-directional streaming of audio and video. It contains a scripting language called ActionScript. It is available in most common web browsers and some mobile phones and other electronic devices (using Flash Lite). Several software products, systems, and devices are able to create or display Flash, including the Adobe Flash Player. The Adobe Flash Professional multimedia authoring program used to create content for the Adobe Engagement Platform, such as web applications, games and movies, and content for mobile phones and other embedded devices.

Files in the SWF format, traditionally called "Flash movies" or "Flash games", usually have a .swf file extension and may be an object of a web page, strictly "played" in a standalone Flash Player, or incorporated into a Projector, a self-executing Flash movie (with the .exe extension in Microsoft Windows). Flash Video (FLV) files have a .flv file extension and are utilized from within .swf files.

Portable Adobe Fireworks CS3 | 49.2mb

Accelerate web design and development with Adobe Fireworks CS3 software, the ideal tool for creating and optimizing images for the web and rapidly prototyping websites and web applications. Fireworks CS3 offers the flexibility to edit both vector and bitmap images, a common library of prebuilt assets, and timesaving integration with Adobe Photoshop CS3, Adobe Illustrator CS3, Adobe Dreamweaver CS3, and Adobe Flash CS3 Professional software.
Top features:

Vector and bitmap editing

Create and edit vector and bitmap images, and import and edit native Adobe® Photoshop® and Adobe Illustrator® files.
Image optimization

Optimize graphics for virtually any delivery scenario with preview, cross-platform gamma preview, selective JPEG compression, and a wide range of export controls.

Efficient Photoshop and Illustrator integration

Import Photoshop (PSD) files while retaining hierarchical layers, layer effects, and blend modes. Save Adobe Fireworks® (PNG) files back into Photoshop (PSD) format. Import Illustrator (AI) files while retaining graphic integrity, including layer, group, and color information.
Rapid prototyping

Prototype interactive layouts for websites and rich Internet applications. Export website prototypes to Adobe Dreamweaver® and RIA prototypes to Adobe Flex™.

Multipage support

Use the new Pages panel to create multiple pages in a single document (PNG file), and share layers across multiple pages. Each page can contain its own slices, layers, frames, animations, and canvas settings, making it easy to simulate website flow in a prototype.
Hierarchical layer organization

Organize and manage your prototypes with a new hierarchical layer structure — similar to the one in Adobe Photoshop — that enables you to easily organize web layers and pages.

Filter effects

Apply lighting effects, shadow effects, styles, and blend modes, including seven new blend modes from Photoshop, to add depth and character to text and symbols.

Jump-start your prototyping with a common library of graphic symbols, text symbols, and animations frequently used in web applications, forms, interfaces, and websites.

Intelligently scale buttons and graphic symbols (in vector or bitmap) with 9-slice scaling. Combine 9-slice scaling with the new Auto Shape library to accelerate website and application prototyping.

Streamlined Dreamweaver and Flash integration

Copy any object in Fireworks CS3 and paste it directly into Dreamweaver CS3. Create pop-up menus that can be saved as CSS and HTML. Export Fireworks (PNG) files directly to Flash CS3 Professional while maintaining vectors, bitmaps, animations, and multistates, and then edit in Flash CS3.

Portable Adobe After Effects CS3 | 151mb

Class Act! It's exciting when the newest version of a product that you've had the pleasure to use has so many tremendous new additions/upgrades to it as Adobe After Effects CS3. It's powerful integration across the board with the different Adobe products makes AE CS3 more exciting and effective.

With it's new 2D and 3D compositing features, animating anything and everything is possible. The 3D feature includes moving animation along the X, Y, and Z coordinates.

And then there are the shape layers with features such as Pucker and Bloat, Zig Zag, and Repeater with the addition of the Star. You can import files and text into AE CS3 from Illustrator, modify and animate the layers.

Or how about the all the hundreds of visual effects resources and greenscreen removal.

You can view all the new and standard effects directly in Bridge and see just how it looks on your AE document.

Brainstorm is a really cool feature that allows you view a multitude of variations on layers. It takes your creativity and gives you many more choices.

The new Puppet tool is so amazing. If you have anything you want to animate such as a character, you can add joints to it make it move anyway you want.

Clip Notes are an added benefit in that it helps track progress and can be exported in a PDF file with video embedded in it. Once they have been exported they can also be imported back into AE CS3 at the exact same point they were exported from.

Flash is such a popular program and because Adobe now owns it, AE can export SWF files directly into Flash without any problems.

There is even more precise and powerful color management tools available for use in film and video.

It's impossible to evaluate just how powerful this newest version of After Effects CS3 really is without coming to the conclusion that you just have to have it in order to stay up with creativity and technology. It's a resource that undeniably too awesome to be able to cover in one review.
